About us

A small UK dealer you can actually talk to

Milton Trucking is run full time by its owner, buying and selling used trucks in the UK and exporting them to buyers across Africa. No call centres, no middlemen — you deal directly with the person who inspected the truck.

We know what works on African roads and what doesn't, and we only stock vehicles and engines we'd be happy to ship ourselves.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Can't find your answer? Message us on WhatsApp — we're happy to help.

Where in Africa do you ship to?

We regularly ship to Mombasa, Dar es Salaam, Lagos, Tema, Durban, Walvis Bay and other major ports. If your port isn't listed, ask us — we can usually arrange it.

How do I pay?

Payment is by bank transfer to our UK business account. We do not take online payments. A deposit secures the vehicle and the balance is paid before shipping.

Can I inspect the vehicle before buying?

Yes. You can visit us in the UK, send a representative, or we can arrange an independent inspection report on your behalf.

Do you help with export documents?

Yes. We supply the V5C/deregistration, invoice, bill of lading and any export declaration paperwork needed for customs clearance at your end.

How long does shipping take?

Typically 3–6 weeks from UK port to arrival in Africa depending on the route and whether the vehicle goes RoRo or in a container.
